Upendra Dixit Joins Navigate as Director of Technology and India Practices

Upendra Dixit has joined global management consulting firm Navigate International as Director and Managing Consultant of Technology and India Practices. Mr. Dixit has led strategic planning, strategic process management, global organizational development, and partner and channel management programs in business-to-business environments in his career of over 20 years in the IT, high tech electronics and telecommunications sectors in the U.S., China, Hong Kong, Germany and his native India.

Mr. Dixit has held senior management positions with Hewlett Packard and Agilent Technologies in India and Germany prior to completing his MBA studies at Thunderbird — The Garvin School of International Management. Mr. Dixit was a forerunner in the growth of the telecom sector in China, and in the growth of that same industry in India following deregulation and globalization. He also led the expansion of Agilent’s photonics test business into Asia and Japan, and through subsequent phases of rapid growth, consolidation and diversification.

Hugh Effinger Joins Navigate as Director of Financial Services Practice

Hugh Effinger has joined global management consulting firm Navigate International as Director and Managing Consultant of the Financial Services practice. Leveraging 30 years of management experience, Mr. Effinger brings expertise and insights to lead strategic and tactical programs for Navigate’s global Fortune 500 clients.

Mr. Effinger’s consulting experience include market entry strategies into Central and South America, Europe, the Middle East, Hong Kong, and China for U.S.- and foreign-based Fortune 500 firms in the aerospace/defense, automotive, consumer products, energy/utilities, financial services, food and beverage, government, IT, and manufacturing sectors. His contributions include producing $2.8 million in annual profits, winning over $12 billion in new business, and managing, training and motivating over 350 professionals.
